This is my dear friend Marisa from the Quilt Otaku blog on the left and me on the right. We had a blast modeling Ysolda’s designs in her booth at Stitches West. I HAVE to make that lacey cardigan from her Little Red in the City book. She did a spectacular job listing out all of the fun booths we went to and podcasters we ran into, so check out her blog for details!
I got way too much stuff this year… note to self, going to a knitting convention without a budget is a bad idea.
Here’s my loot:
- Fiber:
- Patterns:
- Ysolda’s Whimsical Little Knits 3, there is a sock pattern in there that looks really interesting. These will be my next “selfish socks”.
- Coastal Knits by Alana Dakos and Hannah Fetig
- Gretel by Coco Knits
- Yarn
- Malabrigo Rios
- Malabrigo Lace
- Melody
- Tools
So… yeah, I definitley went overboard. But, the little voice in my head says that it’s my birthday in 2 weeks, what the heck 🙂
Now time for me to get dressed and ready for my Design-your-own Triangle Shawl class!
You certainly know how to treat yourself on your birthday! Have a pleasant and interesting class!

Our shawl class rocked. I cannot wait to see you wear your new Ysolda sweater. I broke down and bought some yarn for the best I want to make by her.
What an awesome Stitches! My checkbook is glad it's almost over.
